Art Perchance returns to the MIA’s great outdoors. Play carnival games of skill and luck, and earn chances to win an original work of art by a local artist. Step right up and try your luck with 10 witty carnival games based on art in the MIA’s collection, such as Hoopla Doryphoros, Fool the Guesser, and ARTcentration. In the spirit of Third Thursday, the artful midway is open to the public. Make the most of Art Perchance with VIP patron access to receive free chances for the drawing and more! Or donate during the event to receive a wristband that allows you to earn a “chance” when you win a game. Become an APC VIP!Patrons enjoy free valet parking, early viewing of the art (including a valuable “Buy it Now” opportunity), light bites under the VIP big top, and up to 30 free chances for the art drawing (with the possibility of winning more)! Tickets are available at $100, $250, and $500 per person. The ArtistsArt is at the heart of Art Perchance. And there would be no art without our talented, generous artists and the galleries who promote them by donating their art. Art Perchance is dedicated to showcasing local and regional art by both established and emerging artists. The art comes ready to hang (or wear) and is created in a variety of mediums, including oil, works on paper, sculpture, jewelry, and wood. Interested in submitting a work of art to Art Perchance? Submissions are being accepted through Monday, July 2. Prospective artwork must be ready to display, of a size that can be easily carried away from the event, and available for previewing beforehand by our jury.
