The museum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and July 4. Special New Year’s Day Hours: The museum is open from 12–5 p.m. on Friday, January 1, 2010. Location
Minneapolis Institute of Arts The museum is located one mile south of downtown Minneapolis at the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and East 24th Street. The MIA is readily accessible by Metro Transit bus. Free parking is available in the ramps south of the Institute on 3rd Avenue as well as the lot northeast of the 24th Street and 3rd Avenue intersection. |
