Education and Resources
Teachers, find connections to your curriculum in the MIA's collections. We offer personal consultations, teacher workshops, and extensive online resources, including the monthly “Teaching the Arts” online newsletter.
Discover the museum with a public or school tour. Explore tour options or make reservations for your group tour.
Classes, Lectures, and Events
Beyond the galleries, the Institute offers a wide range of ongoing adult, youth and family programs.
Taught by professors and artists, these classes are designed for adults, and cover a variety of topics. Offerings include art history subjects that complement and enrich the experience of viewing art, as well as sketching classes in the galleries.
National and international scholars, artists, historians, and critics share their expertise and insights. Look for our popular summer subscription lecture series.
Youth & Family Programs
Classes and workshops for students ages four to sixteen explore art by visiting galleries and working in the studio with accredited art educators and artists.
