Special Event
Art in Bloom Family Event
Saturday, April 29, 2006
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
museum-wide

Our Family Day Event gives kids and parents a chance to explore the wonders of art and nature together. This year’s event is inspired by Doreen Cronin’s children’s book, Diary of a Worm, a whimsical journal about the daily doings and the hidden world of a lovable underground dweller. Illustrator and cartoonist, Harry Bliss, will join us for the fun. Come hear a theatrical storyteller, create your own art with an exciting craft project, and follow our "Worm Trail." The activities and events will run continuously from 1 to 4 p.m. Activities were designed with children ages 4 to 10 in mind, but there’s plenty of fun for everyone in the family to enjoy.
