Bonnard's illustrations of sheet music for the family were done to complement the compositions of his brother-in-law, Claude Terrasse. Many of the motifs were inspired by time Bonnard spent with his sister's family. In this sheet, we see Claude and Andrée Terrasse, their baby, and Madame Bonnard, the baby's grandmother.
