Come to the museum for a photographic celebration of road- and river-side wonders! Enjoy hot jazz and cool brews on the patio (a.k.a. Target Park, weather permitting). Inside, American photographers call the shots, with free admission to this summer’s special exhibition, "Friedlander: Photography," and "Alec Soth: Sleeping by the Mississippi," plus free guided tours. Catch an eight-minute short documentary about Twin Cities photographer Alec Soth, and the acclaimed 2005 documentary, William Eggleston in the Real World, about another influential American photographer. Live music. Free admission; refreshments available for purchase; bring your own lawn chair!
