SPECIAL EVENT Member Preview Days for Rembrandt in America Friday and Saturday, June 22 & 2310 a.m. – 5 p.m. Target Galleries MIA members see it first! Special preview of the exhibition is available to all MIA members on these two days, free of charge.
SPECIAL EVENT Friday, June 22, 20126 p.m. – 1 a.m. Museum-wide Join us on for the MIA's third annual fund-raiser. Inspired by the opening of "Rembrandt in America," the gala is a chance to party among masterpieces and support the mission of the MIA.
Gala dinner, 6 p.m.
Exhibition preview and cocktail reception, followed by black-tie dinner and live auction.
After Party, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Light bites, signature cocktail, entertainment, plus exhibition preview from 9 to 10 p.m.

Hunt for art made by teams of many hands and minds.
IN THE STUDIO Learn loads about Chihuly's life and his special team approach to art-making.
Draw and paint using Chihuly's distinctive methods. Collaborate on an installation sure to knock your friends' and families' socks off.
MATERIALS Tempera paint, paper, recycled water bottles, Shrinky Dinks.

Let's make that dream a reality!
IN THE GALLERIES Take off on amazing adventures through the eyes of a character you develop. Search for places far and near, old and new, in which to set your story. Brainstorm ideas and get inspiration from unexpected places.
IN THE STUDIO Develop figure-drawing skills as you craft your story and sketch your characters. Pow! Zap! Shazam! Find cool ways to express ideas through text. Bring your ideas to graphic life as you try cartooning techniques like stippling and cross-hatching.
MATERIALS Graphite pencil, inks, papers.
