SPECIAL EVENT Thursday, February 14, 201310 a.m. – 9 p.m. museum-wide ![]() The Minneapolis Institute of Arts will transform into the Minneapolis Institute of Hearts on Valentine's Day. Join us on February 14 and give a valentine to your favorite piece of art. Everyone who comes to the museum on Valentine's Day will receive a paper heart to place in front of his or her most beloved or swoon-worthy masterpiece. Visitors may write love letters or simply leave the hearts blank. Share your valentine on social media (#MIAhearts) or keep the mystery alive as a secret admirer.
Does your heart yearn for Rembrandt's Lucretia? Have you been dreaming of a date with Monti's Veiled Lady? Does Van Gogh's Olive Trees take your breath away? Has Chuck Close's Frank stolen your heart? Does Lange's Migrant Mother break your heart?
Share the love by leaving your heart with the art at the MIA.
