Over the course of more than two decades, the well-known New York architect Peter Marino has formed an exemplary collection of highly important Italian and French bronze sculptures of the Renaissance and the Baroque. This exhibition features approximately 30 of his European bronze sculptures from the golden age of this artistic genre. The bronzes in the exhibition provide an overview of the development of the collectible small bronze in the Renaissance and the Baroque with examples of stellar quality.

The exhibition will be on view at The Wallace Collection, London (April 29-July 25, 2010); The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens, San Marino, California (October 9, 2010-January 24, 2011) and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (February 5-May 15, 2011).
