French sculptor Aristide Maillol (1861-1944) extended his modeling genius to the art of book illustration. This exhibition, drawn entirely from the museum's permanent collection, features a nearly complete survey of Maillol's artist's book oeuvre, with texts ranging from Virgil to Paul Verlaine.
