Feathers, paper, steel, rusty iron and old clothes are all used in the creations of NUNO, Japan’s cutting-edge design company producing innovative techno textiles. NUNO is a company of contradictions and infinite possibilities.

Reverence for the great traditions of Japan’s refined textile history and fascination with new advanced technologies have led the designers of this young company to create fabrics that excite architects and fashion designers alike.

This exhibition highlights the creative expression of NUNO during the last two decades. Always imaginative, always challenging, these textiles incorporate art and science into an exciting range of new expressions in contemporary fabric.
