Many contemporary Plains Indian artists rely on the work of their ancestors for inspiration, technique, and subject matter.

This mini-exhibition examines how the work of three artists, Francis Yellow, Martin Red Bear, and Robe Walker, use traditional imagery in their work. Their works are juxtaposed with historical artwork in this exhibition.
