"Remembering Gus" pays tribute to artist and collector Gus Gustafson, whose untimely death in 2003 saddened members of the Twin Cities art scene. The exhibiton features selected works from Gustafson's vast collection of artworks by contemporary Minnesota artists and his own photographic works. "Remembering Gus" is organized by a team of artists and curators who have intimate knowledge of the photographer's art and life: Thom Barry, Julie Hartley, Larry Marcus, Tom Adair and Glen Hanson. The exhibition is accompanied by a video documentary about Gustafson, featuring many artists from the community.

WORKS TO BE AUCTIONED

The proceeds from the sale will be divided equally among Gus’s immediate family and a scholarship in Gus’s name to fund fine-art photography at the University of Minnesota.
