This exhibition brings together two important works by Wassily Kandinsky. They were originally split, and are back together for the first time. Study for Improvisation V, owned by the Institute, is the corresponding half of a recently rediscovered work, Two Riders and a Reclining Figure, lent to the Institute courtesy of Galerie Thomas, Munich.
