Mission Statement

Sponsorship of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts’ Antiques Show and Sale by the Decorative Arts Curatorial Council has a two-fold purpose:

First, to raise money for the Minneapolis Institute of Arts acquisition fund for decorative arts.

Second, to build a top-quality antiques dealer show specializing in fine European, Asian, and American furniture and decorative arts of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.

It proposes not only to educate the public, students, and collectors for the enrichment of the community, but also to ensure continuing public support for the activities of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
